Lily James looks completely unrecognisable in Versace campaign
British actor Lily James has once again proven herself to be a style chameleon.
The Pam & Tommy star underwent a gothic makeover, looking completely unrecognisable in Versace’s latest campaign.

In new images shared to her Instagram account, the 33-year-old traded her brunette locks for striking jet-black hair with a blunt fringe.
Her eyebrows are bleached blonde, eyes are make-up-free, and her look is completed with overdrawn dark purple lipstick.
Dressed in all black, James dons a black sleeveless corset dress with visible boning and a cinched waist, accessorised with a pair of elbow-length latex gloves.

She holds Versace’s Greca Goddess bag over the top of her head, finishing the look with matching gold bracelets and oversized earrings.
“Thank you @donatella_versace for setting me free with your Greca Goddess bag. In Italy. In @versace. I live for this. Love you,” James captioned the image.
Italian powerhouse Donatella Versace shared her mutual love, quickly replying “You are perfection! Absolutely STUNNING.”

James also shared a behind-the-scenes photo to her Instagram stories.
Wearing a red long-sleeve dress with a cut-out and exposed boning at the stomach, along with matching red pointed-toe boots, James posed with the label's long-time artistic director and esteemed designer, Donatella Versace. “This. Is. A. Dream,” she wrote.
The actor is a long-time fan of Versace, as evidenced by some of her most recent red carpet looks.
James attended this year’s Met Gala – also known as “fashion's biggest night out” – in a custom lilac Versace dress, designed with intricate beading and sheer panels.
And at the Oscars red carpet, James stunned in another Versace dress – a sleeveless light pink maxi dress with floral detailing.
