Lily Allen has given a candid insight into her sex life with Stranger Things actor David Harbour.

The 39-year-old previously opened up about her decision to go teetotal in 2019, after years of wild partying. She once claimed to have been booted out of the Glamour awards "in a k-hole" after taking ketamine she believed was cocaine.

She's also described that period of her life as being "literally just off my face the whole time," during a chat with the New York Times.

In the latest podcast episode of her Miss Me? podcast with Miquita Oliver, Lily revealed she couldn't remember ever having sex sober until she met her husband David. This was brought up when Miquita called her out for no longer being a 'kinky b****', reports the Daily Star.

She explained: "I think alcohol had a lot to do with the kink. I don't think before I got together with David, I had ever had sex not drunk actually."

"Unless maybe like morning sex but still a bit drunk and definitely high."

Lily also touched upon their bedroom activities. She said: "I wonder if I kink-shame my husband. Because he quite often asks for things, and I'm like: 'No, babe, it's not happening.'"

“I’m not like: ‘You piece of s***, how dare you ask me to do that!'” she then joked. “I’m just like: ‘Hmm, headache. Little headache, got a bit of a headache — maybe not tonight.’”

Lily began her romance with David in 2019, and the couple tied the knot a year later in Vegas with an Elvis impersonator officiating their ceremony.

The singer has been open about her struggle with substance abuse. In a previous QandA on Instagram, Lily admitted she gave up drinking "A while ago because I needed to."

When a fan asked about drug use, the star revealed she is now "clean and serene".

This chat follows after Lily candidly discussed her experiences with female sex workers during the breakdown of her first marriage. She was "very promiscuous and experimental" during this time and felt compelled to share her story to "help others".
