"The outer sole is some sort of hard-formed plastic/rubber that has ridges in it ... I noticed right away that they are somewhat slick on my hardwood floors. I thought as I wore them that they would scuff and createmore contact but they have not as of today. They are fine on sidewalks and pavement."

A handful of other reviewers say the knit upper can make it tricky to get these shoes on. "Very comfortable; however, it is very difficult for me to put on unlike other slip-ons," said this final shopper. "The back of the shoe is not rigid. Would be awesome if it is."
