Lauren Goodger reveals shock new surgery overhaul explaining 'Kardashian' butt lift has left her in agony
Lauren Goodger has open about the cosmetic procedures she's undergone since finding fame on The Only Way Is Essex, but has now shared her hopes of reversing some of the surgery she's had done. The reality TV star has admitted she feels "uncomfortable" with certain parts of her body, especially since becoming a mum.
Lauren, 37, had a boob job in 2014, taking her from a 34D to an E. She explained how she decided to have her boobs enhanced after seeing a girl with hers done while on holiday in Antigua, and within a week of returning to the UK she'd undergone the surgery on London's Harley Street.
Three years later, Lauren underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift in Turkey in a bid to get the 'Kardashian' look. While she admitted she thinks she looked "the boll*cks" after her surgery, she said she now wishes she'd "never had anything".
"My boobs looked amazing, I loved how I looked in pictures and all the attention," Lauren told Closer magazine. "But now I wish I'd never had anything. I want it all out. My bum and boobs make me look bigger and cause me pain. I want to reverse it all and go back to normal."
Lauren said her boobs "blew up" while pregnant and she now has "lumps and bumps" everywhere. She said her implants now make her feel "heavy" and "uncomfortable".
"I had a great time with them, but if I knew they'd only get bigger, I wouldn't have had them. We don't know the long-term effects of implants either," the 37 year said.
She admitted her Brazilian Butt Lift has left her riddled with back pain too, and she feels her bum is "absolutely mahoosive". The star told the magazine she underwent the procedure at a time when the "Kardashian look was in fashion".
Lauren's confession comes after she made her highly anticipated return to TOWIE in the latest series of the ITVBe reality show. Lauren was part of the original cast in 2010 before leaving years later.
Speaking to OK! about the return, she said: "I feel like I’m on the up, and going back to TOWIE has helped with that. I’ve suffered with my mental health but I am on a healing journey. I’m in a much better place since coming back to TOWIE."
"The reaction to the first few episodes has been absolutely amazing," Lauren added. "We hit 1.2 million views on my first episode so I know the team were over the moon."
