Laura Anderson in thinly-veiled dig at Gary Lucy as shares 'new mantra'

Former Love Island star Laura Anderson is currently in London preparing for the BAFTA TV Awards but in between FaceTime calls with baby Bonnie, she appeared to make a dig at her ex.

Laura, 35, welcomed baby Bonnie in 2023 with Gary Lucy and the pair appeared to have reconciled at Christmas. However, in recent months, Laura said she was "happily single" and has slammed her ex.

Now, Laura appears to have taken another dig at Gary with her post on Instagram. She shared a video with the caption: "Either my kids are going to see their mom fully loved and respected by a man, or they will see how I made the best life for us on my own. Either way, we win."

Just hours before, Laura shared a video of her singing along to a backing track which said: "I'm so f*****g b******t, shut the, shut the f**k up." Laura, who wore a pink T-shirt and sunglasses, could be seen sipping on a glass of rose, in the clip captioned: "My new Mantra," with the peace emoji.

Laura opened up to OK! last month about mum guilt and juggling her career as a presenter on Capital Breakfast Scotland. On having "tough days" Laura explained: "There are weeks when it can be difficult, especially as babies go through so many changes very quickly. I feel like Bonnie is developing rapidly and when I've nailed one part of her routine, then something will change. It's all worth it though."

She went on to note she's "getting used to the balance of switching off when I'm at work and then when I go home, I can fully be 'mum Laura' but it's all still new". She continued: Bonnie's only just turned seven months and I don't know if anybody ever masters the 'mum guilt.' We're only human."

On juggling work and childcare, Laura shared: "It can be tough but at the end of the day, my life revolves around Bonnie. I'm doing this job for her - to provide for her.

"I'm sure she'll be a topic of conversation on the radio all the time [laughs] and I'll be checking in on her during ad breaks. But the early starts mean that I get to spend every afternoon with her, give her dinner and put her to bed.

"Plus, I'm such an organised person, so that helps. I thought I was organised before but since having Bonnie, there's nothing more than having good time management."
