De La Soul's music is finally streaming

After years of fighting to get their music on streaming platforms, the day has finally arrived for De La Soul. The achievement is bittersweet since bandmate Trugoy the Dove died just weeks ago at the age of 54. The group addressed their streaming troubles in 2019, saying Tommy Boy Records declined to get sample clearance for their songs. "Tommy Boy—Tom Silverman, in particular—didn't think that '3 Feet High and Rising' was going to do well at all. Because of that reason, they decided not to clear stuff."
