Kerry Katona joins dating app Raya and shares devastating confession about ex Ryan
In her weekly column for OK!, Kerry Katona opens up on romance and spending Valentine's alone, as she confesses that she's trying to join a very famous celebrity dating app following her split last year from ex Ryan Mahoney.
The former Atomic Kitten star reveals that by the time we read her column she will be in sunny Thailand for a holiday with her 17-year-old daughter Heidi - again, another milestone as she admits, 'It's my first holiday without Ryan, it will definitely feel weird'. Kerry also shares her thoughts on the rumours that Annie Kilner could be heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house - a show that Kerry appeared on herself in 2011 and finished runner-up...
SINGLE LADY
it’s Valentine’s day on Friday and i’m quite glad i’ll be away on holiday for it since it’s my first one single in a long time. it will be a bit strange without Ryan, but he was never great at Valentine’s gifts anyway. i’ve never been really into Valentine’s day so i’m feeling oK – i think it’s a bit gimmicky, although i did get married once on 14 February! i’ll get the kids a card and maybe one for myself because i need a bit of self-love. i have actually been trying to get on the Raya app to dip my toe in the dating pond, but i’m not on it yet. i don’t think i’d like to do the other apps again.
FUN IN THE SUN
By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be in sunny Thailand with Heidi. We’ve decided to take a break away from the winter cold and gloom. It’s Heidi’s 18th next week too, so we’re celebrating that. It’s my first holiday without Ryan, which will definitely feel weird, but it’s also going to be nice to get abroad. We aren’t going to be doing too much travelling. I’d just like to have some time off and relax.
GO FOR IT, ANNIE!
Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner has reportedly been offered a place on Celebrity Big Brother and i think she should do it – why not? after everything she’s been through, she should definitely go for it. When opportunities like that come up, you should grab them by the horns. i’m looking forward to seeing who they get in the house this year. i’d like to see Olivia Attwood in there and Joe Baggs, who used to be on Gogglebox, or his mum, Lisa Baggs. i think they’d all be great. it was 2011 when i was last in there and i’d love to be invited back, of course!
NOT BIG ON BEY
Beyoncé tour tickets go on sale this week and, if I’m honest, her music isn’t really my thing. I saw her years ago in Destiny’s Child, but I wouldn’t know any of her new music. I know she puts on a great show, but it doesn’t appeal to me much. Maybe it’s an age thing? I had a similar feeling with the Grammys. None of it is my thing and I feel like a lot of it is staged. I’m not that much of a music person, which sounds weird since I was in a band. But I have got into Sabrina Carpenter because the kids play her music in the car.
LOVING LUCA
I’m back with my weekly Love Island update and I’m more obsessed than ever. I got really emotional when Scott Thomas left. I texted him afterwards saying, “I can’t believe I’m crying over Love Island!” I really love Luca Bish. I know he’s a bit young for me – he’s 25 – but I think he’s gorgeous. I also think he’s very genuine. I know Grace Jackson wasn’t happy when he kissed Samie elishi after she arrived, but he has to do what’s best for him.
