The actor has become well-known for playing Detective Inspector Geordie Keating on the ITV detective drama since 2014.
His substantial acting resume includes roles in Casualty, Soldier Soldier, Wire in the Blood, Being Human, and Waterloo Road. Born in this idyllic town but raised in nearby Dudley, Cramlington, he later moved back to be close to the River Tyne, which he adores for its stunning views.
