Our favourite pieces from the new Kate Moss x Zara collection
Kate Moss has teamed up with Zara to create a partywear collection, landing just in time for the festive season. The supermodel has curated a selection of partywear pieces – and we want it all.
The collaboration – which launched in stores and online on 30 November – includes both ready-to-wear pieces and accessories. Kate worked with renowned stylist Katy England on the new Kate Moss x Zara collab, so it's unsurprisingly a real treat for fashion lovers.
The collection features classic day-to-night party pieces inspired by Kate's covetable wardrobe and love of disco and rock'n'roll. She credits the '70s style of Charlotte Rampling and Lauren Hutton, Studio 54 and Led Zeppelin as inspirations, and has even recreated the iconic sparkly gold dress that she wore to Glastonbury Festival in 2005.
We were expecting great things from Kate's latest high-street collaboration – and we haven't been disappointed. This edit is quintessential Kate – think a smattering of prints from on-trend leopard to vintage-inspired florals, and all the partywear classics from velvet and sequins to a touch of lace.
Of course, Kate's also curated a fabulous range of accessories, from party season bags to chunky, stackable jewellery and statement footwear (including ballet flats which she became synonymous with in the '00s). There's everything you could need for party season with a stylish mix of textures and prints, so you're going to want to snap your favourites up fast.
In a statement, Kate said: "I’ve enjoyed working with Zara on campaigns over the years and always loved their collaborations so when Marta [Ortega Pérez, the chair of Zara's parent company, Inditex] and I first talked about this project I was excited…getting to design clothes again and work with Katy England.
"For this collection, I wanted to create the perfect party capsule – pieces that feel effortlessly chic but with an edge. Mixing classic cuts with just the right amount of glam to take you through the party season.
Unsurprisingly, many of the pieces have already sold out but there are some still some beautiful partywear heroes to shop now...
