Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, is said to be 'deeply upset' by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 'new brand operation'.

The Sussexes are reportedly keen on promoting their brand, much to the chagrin of Prince William and Catherine, according to a Royal expert. Meghan recently unveiled her new venture, American Riviera Orchard, while Harry has been busy with interviews and tours.

Meanwhile, Catherine and King Charles have been focusing on their health following their cancer diagnoses. However, a Royal insider suggests that the Sussexes' promotional activities have upset the Princess of Wales as she is currently unable to work due to medical advice.

William, on the other hand, has prioritised his family, supporting Catherine and their three children during this difficult period. Despite this, royal author Tom Bower claims that William is under "pressure" and continues to fulfil his royal duties solo.

In contrast, Harry and Meghan have been actively promoting Meghan's new business, the Invictus Games, and their upcoming Netflix projects. Bower alleges that William has been dealing with "constant sniping from California" and is likely "furious" with his brother Harry, reports the Mirror.

He stated: "Not only is there the pressure on William, but also the constant sniping from California. I'm sure he's furious with Harry, he's behaved appallingly."

The Royal Observer reports that the author labelled Harry's accusations against the Waleses as "outrageous, rude, unfair" and a source of "a real struggle" for William and Catherine. Speaking about the launch of Meghan's American Riviera Orchard and the broader "brand Sussex", Bower commented: "While they're establishing this so-called brand Sussex, the family here is going through torment.

"After Charles' diagnosis, Harry came over for half an hour, and that's it, he's done nothing else," he continued. "I can imagine that Kate and William are deeply upset by having the Sussexes' brand operation rubbed in their face while they're going through this tragedy."

Meanwhile, a royal aide has insisted that Catherine "needs the space and privacy to recover right now" despite her "a clear commitment" to her public duties.

The Princess of Wales is reportedly "excited" to be at the centre of a project that could potentially boost the UK economy by £45.5billion annually. On Tuesday, her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood published a report identifying five areas where businesses of all sizes can support children under five and their caregivers.

OK! has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.

Last year, Catherine rallied a Business Taskforce to support her passionate vision for early childhood development. A senior royal aide confided in MailOnline: "The Princess of Wales was the driving force behind the business task force. She has been kept up to date since the inception of the task force and she has read the report and been briefed on it.

"This is a clear commitment she has made throughout her life of public service that this will be focus. That will continue when she returns to work. But we have been really clear that she needs the space and the privacy to recover right now. She will return to work when she has had the green light from doctors."
