Kate Ferdinand unveils jaw-dropping Elf-themed Christmas tree and decorations including adorable treats for her kids
Kate Ferdinand has shared a look at her beautifully decorated home in a Christmas video that features lots of stunning decorations, including an Elf themed tree especially for her children. Kate, who celebrated her fifth wedding anniversary with husband Rio in September, showed off her Christmas decorations including the family tree, featuring red decorations with lots of candy canes and Elf shoes, as well as a chic white and gold tree, another tree decorated with red baubles, and red decorations entwined with tree branches down her impressive staircase.
The Instagram story also featured Kate’s two children with Rio, son Cree and daughter Shea, both wearing matching red pyjamas. Kate is also stepmum to Rio’s three children with his late wife Rebecca – Lorenz, Tate and Tia. As well as featuring impressive decorations at the Ferdinand home, the video also included Cree and Shea being treated to bananas decorated with smiling faces and the family settling down to watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas together.
Kate captioned the video “Cosy Christmas mornings with the babies,” and fans were thrilled with the clips of her and her children. One wrote: “Those cosy indoor days with snuggles are the best,” while another commented: “Beautiful home, beautiful family!” Many sent their Christmas best wishes, including one fan who said: “Wishing you and your lovely family a wonderful Christmas.”

Last month, Kate revealed that the family suffered “sleepless nights” following an incident on holiday in the Maldives with the children. Three year old son Cree suffered a broken collar bone and Kate revealed he had to be rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
“We ended a fabulous trip with a broken collar bone. My boy just always gets injured!!,” she wrote alongside a black and white snap in which she could be seen supporting her son and giving him a kiss as he lay on a stretcher. “It’s been sleepless nights, cuddles, TV & chocolate since”.
The couple also recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. Speaking to OK! on their big day, Rio said: “I definitely wasn’t looking for someone at that time. I didn’t think it was possible, I wasn’t open to bringing someone in to become a stepmum to the kids.”
“Things don’t always go the way you imagine. Meeting Kate changed everything and sometimes it’s just fate. I knew Kate was special from the moment I met her, it was pretty instant, but seeing her with the kids cemented everything, that was a huge part of it for me.”
