Kaia Gerber makes her couture debut on the Chanel runway (obviously)
It’s official: Kaia Gerber has further cemented her status in the fashion sphere.
Earlier today, the 16-year-old proved she’s got what it takes after making her couture debut at none other than the Chanel Haute Couture SS18 show.
Not a bad way to kick-start your career on the haute runway, eh?
After stomping through the SS18 shows for the likes of Calvin Klein, Versace, Burberry and Fendi, the fresh-faced newcomer has now taken couture in her stride, too.
Kaia proved she’s Karl Lagerfeld‘s muse of the moment, as she opened the highly-anticipated Chanel show in Paris this morning.
Stepping out in a frothy bell-shaped dress and sheer veil, the 16-year-old led a gaggle of models in a garden-themed spectacle held at the prestigious Grand Palais.
But it’s hardly surprising, with her mother Cindy Crawford to thank for her supermodel-worthy genes and inimitable walk.
And Kaia’s couture debut is no coincidence, as it was recently revealed that the model is teaming up with Lagerfeld on a ready-to-wear clothing line set to drop in September.
