Josie Gibson 'guardian angel' to Made In Chelsea star after relationship break-up with incredibly kind act

While TV star Josie Gibson is at the centre of swirling rumours that she's more than just friends with fellow presenter Stephen Mulhern, she's shown in the past what a good pal she can be in times of need.

Last year, former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James took to her Instagram to sing praises of the This Morning and I'm A Celebrity star in an emotional post about the power of friendship.

Describing Josie as her "guardian angel", Ashley was excited to see her good pal appear as the latest campmate in the Australian jungle for the Ant and Dec-fronted show, stating: "Having a break whilst I'm away but I just had to come on here and wish Josie Gibson so much luck for the jungle. She deserves to be a queen, I'm so happy for everything coming Josie's way."

Ashley went on to reveal the heartwarming story of their friendship, sharing how Josie came to her rescue after a tough relationship breakup: "Lots of you won't know but Josie was my literal guardian angel after a bad breakup almost 10 years ago."

She detailed the incredible support Josie provided during her time of need: "I'd only met her twice but after reading my relationship was over online she called me to check in. I was a mess and had no money etc - within 10 minutes Josie was in a van one the way from Bristol to pick me and all my possessions up."

Ashley also reminisced about the months she spent living with Josie, saying: "I lived with her for five months and she helped me pick my life back up and helped me build my self esteem. We had a lot of fun together."

She concluded her tribute by highlighting Josie's generous nature: "Josie is always so giving and I'm just so happy that she is getting the recognition she deserves from just being a 10/10 human. I'll love her forever."

Before venturing into the Australian wilderness, Josie, who is known for her bubbly presence on This Morning and her victory on Big Brother, made a commitment to herself to face her fears head-on. She expressed her determination: "I've promised myself that even if I'm frightened to death, I'm going to give everything the best, the best I can do."

"I'm going to give everything my fullest. I'm going to put everything behind it because I feel like if you come to a job probably, then don't do it at all.

"So as long as I know that I've walked away from everything that I've been put up for, and I've done it to the best of my ability then I'll be happy."

She added: "I also don't like spiders and I freeze normally when I see one. My family thinks I am mad doing the programme too as they know what I'm like with creepy crawlies! ".
