Joey Essex's ex Grace reveals horrible truth about their romance as she joins Love Island as a bombshell
Three new arrivals are set to rock the villa in tonight's episode. The Islanders are enjoying a special brunch in the sunshine when peace is interrupted with the shock arrival of three new bombshells, Grace, Tiffany and Will.
As the three newcomers enter, Joey Essex is particularly shocked and says: “Oh my God.” Turning to Sean, Joey says: “I used to see that girl bruv…that blonde girl.”
Sensing something is off, Samantha says to Joey: “Do you know her?” to which he says: “Yeah…it’s a long story man…”
Samantha continues to ask: “Did you used to see her?”
As the girls get to know the newcomers, Nicole asks Grace: “So how do you know Joey then?
Revealing what happened between them, Grace says: “So, we met last year in Ibiza and it's actually funny because he's not my type at all. We had a bit of a holiday romance. It carried on when we were back home. It was quite intense.
"We were seeing each other for a few months. It kind of ended a little bit frosty to be honest and we've not really spoken since.”
Grace Jackson is a 25 year old from Manchester, where she is co-owner of a social media marketing agency.
The blonde bombshell describes herself as "very down to earth" and "easy to talk to" and has revealed that she used to model.
When asked what makes her a 'catch', Grace said: "I’m very down to earth and easy to talk to. I’m quite direct! I’m very loyal! Once I really care about you, I’ll do a lot for you and I’ll always put you first. I very much wear my heart on my sleeve."
However, as for staying in a relationship, Grace admitted that she knows she can put guys "off a little bit" because she loves to go out and travel. But if a guy doesn't have good communication then that immediately puts her off.
She is entering the villa with fellow newbies Wil Anderson, 23 - a quantity surveyor from Whitley Bay - and Hertfordshire-based Tiffany Leighton, 25, who works as an HR Coordinator. Ahead of entering the villa, Wil said that he'll bring a "cheerful, cheeky excitable vibe" to the villa and considers himself to be a decent cook.
Meanwhile, Tiffany will bring "some spice, spontaneity" and her "best flirting game" when trying to win round the boys - although admitted that she's "very picky" and seems to go for "walking red flags".
Love Island continues on Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
