About the role
Iris is looking for a dynamic person who is interested in exploring new ways to grow and market a beauty app on Instagram and TikTok. More specifically, this person will work alongside our content team designing creative assets, executing video content, and engaging with our Instagram & TikTok community. This role requires genuine passion for the beauty industry, a robust understanding of Instagram and TikTok, and the ability to work in a fast paced, startup environment. In particular, you are adaptable and a go getter (proactive in getting things done).
In this role you will:
● Create photo, graphic, and video content targeted towards the Iris Instagram & TikTok audience.
● Work on Canva (or equivalent) to create IG stories and content carousels.
● Pitch new and trending content ideas for both social media platforms.
● Create weekly content pieces for social media, ads, and other marketing needs.
Requirements/necessary skills:
● Strong story sense for TikTok and Instagram short form videos
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick online communication skills
● Ability to set timelines, ask questions, and meet multiple deadlines
● Experience using Canva and CapCut or other related video editing tools
● Must be comfortable as on-screen talent (must show your face in content)
● Access to bright lighting for well lit, high-quality video content
● A commitment of ~10-20 hours a week
