Inside Ryan Thomas' wild 40th birthday bash in Portugal with celeb guest list and special performance
Ryan Thomas celebrated his 40th birthday in style with an epic weekend away to Portugal with his family and closest friends. The ex-Coronation Street star enjoyed a booze-fuelled three-day getaway alongside many other famous faces.
Ryan's fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh, 32, organised the entire trip for him to mark his milestone birthday. The couple, who share Roman, four, and Lilah, 17 months, were joined by Ryan's famous twin brothers Adam and Scott, 35, as well as Adam's wife Caroline, and their two children Teddy and Elsie-Rose.
Ryan's teenage daughter Scarlett, 15, whom he shares with ex Tina O'Brien, was also in attendance, as well as ex-TOWIE favourite Lydia Bright and her new boyfriend Ben Davies.
Ryan's celebrations kicked off with a lavish party held at a stunning outdoor venue. The dad-of-three looked stylish in a multicoloured shirt and beige chinos, with a pair of black sunglasses. He was joined by Lucy, who modelled a statement yellow gown complete with sequins and frills across the shoulder.
The party featured live entertainment from musicians, with Scarlett, who stars in Waterloo Road, even taking to the stage to show off her incredible singing voice. She belted out Shallow from hit movie, A Star Is Born, leaving the guests stunned as proud dad Ryan watched on.
Other famous faces in attendance included former Made in Chelsea star and This Morning regular Ashley James and her boyfriend Tommy Andrews, as well as EastEnders star Dean Gaffney and TOWIE's Jake Hall. Hattie Dynevor, daughter of Corrie's Sally, was spotted at the bash, along with PrettyLittleThing founder Umar Kamani.
Guests partied the night away outside, with a fun photo booth on offer as well as personalised cocktails. The day began with a formal meal, with a strict seating plan set out for all eight tables. Attendees tucked into a set three course menu, which featured grilled salmon, oysters, steak, fries and ice cream.
The celebrations didn't stop there, with Ryan and his guests enjoying another party the following day. Everyone headed out to a luxurious beach club, where more celebrations took place.
A dress code appeared to be in place, with all guests dressed in white and light colours. Lucy modelled a stunning maxi dress complete with cut out details, while Ryan sported a white shirt with patterns across the bottom.
The couple could be seen drinking shots together in fun videos as they partied the day away surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Ryan shared several videos and photos on Instagram of his big day, and gushed over his partner for pulling out all of the stops.
"You made my 40th unforgettable. Love you my angel," the dad-of-three penned and tagged Lucy. Other guests shared many snaps from the weekend, including Ashley, 37, who said she's had "so much fun" in Portugal.
The mum-of-two penned: "We came on our first childfree weekend away to celebrate @ryanthomas84 40th birthday and it was so much fun! One of the funnest nights ever celebrating you @ryanthomas84 ! What an amazing bunch of people! You're very loved! @lucymeck1 you smashed every detail - please can you organise all parties going forward!"
