When you were young, it was probably easier to give a friend a 'leg up' or help them climb over something. Of course, this can be done as adults. But it tends not to be done as effectively or, er, gracefully! Something that might appear beyond reach can become more accessible if you're willing to accept a nudge or push somebody can offer you.
