It's possible that what somebody tells you isn't as much of an issue as what you sense they're not telling you. You could also feel that your connection with someone is changing, and so too is the level of trust they show you. But you may need to consider the way this person is adjusting to a very new level of change. Give them the time and space they need. Don't take any distancing personally.
