One day, Forrest Gump decided to run. So he ran. And ran. He had no idea why he was running; it made sense to him to do so. Some might say he went overboard where the pursuit of his plan was concerned. This might have much to do with not having much of a plan in the first place. Similarly, an idea of yours needs only a finite amount of effort to make it happen. Don't believe going overboard will bring a better or more pleasing result.
