Hollyoaks shock as fans 'work out' Jeremy Blake DNA twist and link to villain
Hollyoaks fans are suspecting that the new character, Jeremy Blake, isn't all he seems to be, hinting at a massive identity twist that could spell trouble for Sienna.
Jeremy Sheffield has made an unexpected return to the Channel 4 soap, eight years after his character was killed off. Patrick Blake was murdered in 2016 by his own granddaughter, Nico Blake, but now his twin brother, Jeremy Blake, has shown up in Chester.
Jeremy's sudden appearance initially sent chills down the spine of his niece, Sienna (played by Anna Passey), who was terrified that her father Patrick had come back from the dead. Initially convinced that her evil father was still alive, Sienna was taken aback when she discovered the truth about Patrick's secret twin, leading her to soften her stance towards him.
Jeremy cleared up the confusion, explaining that he is Patrick's long-lost brother, having lost contact with the tyrannical headmaster many years before his death.
Sienna urged him to keep his distance, warning Dilly Harcourt (portrayed by Emma Johnsey-Smith) to steer clear of him. However, Dilly disregarded her sister's advice and invited Jeremy to move in with them at Oakdale Drive once he was released from the hospital, reports the Daily Star.
After some consideration, Sienna accepted that Jeremy was nothing like her father Patrick and invited him to stay. The revelation of Jeremy's tattoo then sparked rumours that he might actually be Patrick - who isn't dead after all.
Hollyoaks enthusiasts are buzzing on Reddit with theories that Jeremy might actually be Patrick. One viewer speculated, "Did Patrick have the same tattoo. Looks like it's not his twin. Dumb story."
Another chimed in with their take on the soap's plot twists: "Just when I think Hollyoaks can't go any further downhill... they're probably going to make out that Patrick isn't dead, and that the body they thought was Patrick's was his brother's."
