High School Musical 2 fans go wild for real life resort where you can stay too
Disney enthusiasts are buzzing after getting a glimpse of the real-life resort featured in High School Musical 2.
Remember the iconic moment when Zac Efron, as the unforgettable Troy Bolton, belted out Bet On It while strutting his stuff on a golf course? That was in High School Musical's second instalment, where Troy and the East High gang landed summer jobs at a swanky country club, complete with the usual teen angst and drama.
For those who've ever dreamt of living out their own High School Musical summer, it's actually possible to book a stay at the very resort where Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and the rest of the beloved cast filmed the movie.
While the film dubbed it 'Lava Springs Country Club', its actual name is The Inn at Entrada, nestled in Utah's St George area. Fans can shoot hoops on Troy's basketball court or lounge by Sharpay's pool these spots are just as they were when the movie hit screens in 2007.
The Washington County retreat boasts "comfort and ample" luxury lodges, promising a "true home-away-from-home experience", complete with hot tubs, private garages, cosy living rooms with fireplaces, and breathtaking views of the red Vermillion Cliffs yes, the very cliffs from the "Bet On It" scene.
Prices for staying in one of these plush suites range from £185 to £362 per night, varying with the number of guests.
The resort also features tennis courts, a spa, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, and an upscale restaurant for dining in style.
HSM die-hard fans have garnered a whopping 1.3 million views after sharing their experience at the resort on TikTok. German besties and dancers, Vanessa and Nayla, gave followers a glimpse of what it was like "sleeping in Vanessa Hudgens' room" - after cheekily requesting from the front desk to stay in a room where one of the actors had stayed.
The video captures the duo making their grand entrance into the resort before heading to their luxurious room with a breathtaking view of southwestern Utah. They also chilled by the pool - a key location in HSM 2, while belting out Sharpay's Fabulous song.
The pair described their stay at the resort as an "absolute dream" and labelled it as "absolutely incredible". Responding to the video, one fan gushed: "I would run through the field and sing Bet On It."
"How does it feel to live my dream? ," penned another. "My inner child is screaming," chimed in another. "I want to go here," commented another fan.
