Here's Exactly What You Can Get With Burger King's New $5 Duos and $7 Trios
The chain is also offering $1 burgers for an entire week.
In 2024, fast food chains got hot and heavy with the deals, rolling out value menu after value menu. And in a world where everything feels wildly expensive, it was a welcome change. Luckily for budget-conscious diners, it appears some of the brands are continuing the trend into 2025.
In January, Burger King shared with Food & Wine that it's offering a few brand-new deals to try, including its $5 Duos and $7 Trios. The deal allows guests to pick two items for $5 or three items for $7, including any of the following: Whopper Junior, Original Chicken Sandwich, Bacon Cheeseburger, Medium Fries, 8-piece Chicken Fries, or a Medium Soft Drink. The deals, Burger King explained, are available now through the "spring," which means we don't know exactly when they will end, but take advantage of them while you can.

Burger King is also hosting $1 Cheeseburger Week, which will be available nationwide from January 27 through February 2. The company noted that Royal Perks members can "enjoy the delicious taste of a classic BK cheeseburger through the BK App — for just $1." The offer is even better for Walmart+ Members, who will receive access to it a day early on January 26.
Beyond that, the chain is celebrating National Croissant Day on January 30. "Burger King is offering Royal Perks members a special 1-cent breakfast deal on the Croissan’wich with any purchase of $1 or more," the company confirmed.
“For more than 70 years, Burger King has prided itself on providing delicious, quality food for a great value. As the new year gets underway and consumers are looking for great food at a fair price, we want to provide Guests with options like the new $5 Duos and $7 Trios as the perfect way to enjoy a quality meal their way," Burger King told Food & Wine via email. "In addition, we’re always looking for ways to reward our Royal Perks members with exclusive deals, and our $1 Cheeseburger Week and National Croissant Day offers are even more examples of how Burger King is always looking to bring incredible value to Guests in different and unexpected ways throughout the year.”
Burger King is not the only fast-food chain dishing out good deals in the new year. Food & Wine additionally reported on Sonic's new "Daily Cravings & Savings" lineup, which includes something tasty at an affordable price every day of the week, like its Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburgers, available for $1.99 on Mondays, along with half-price Sonic Cheeseburgers after 5 p.m., on Tuesdays (note: this deal is only available via its app or online).
Also in January, McDonald's pushed its McValue platform live, which offers expansive deals available both on its menus and in its app, spread across four columns: Rotating in-app exclusive deals; local deals, which are franchise-specific promotions happening near you; meal deals, which include discounts on exclusive meals; and buy one, add one for $1 rotating deals. So yes, there are deals on deals on deals. Long live the deal wars.
