Hailey Baldwin's teeny-tiny Topshop dress draws shade on red carpet

All eyes were on Hailey Baldwin last night when she arrived at The Fashion Awards 2017 in a micro LBD from Topshop. But not everyone appreciated the thrifty source of her striking outfit choice.

The British Fashion Council’s annual awards ceremony was held at London’s Royal Albert Hall and there were plenty of celebs dressed to impress. Selena Gomez went for prairie chic, Kai Gerber opted for a ruffly confection, Zendaya arrived in a sheer gown and blonde wig, and there were many more.

But there is no question it was Hailey who turned the most heads. Her look was breathtaking, and she proved it’s the piece no the price tag that counts when making a fashion statement. Even her BFF Bella Hadid agreed, tweeting: “Give me life, HB!”

But Miss Piggy, who hosted the red carpet with Derek Blasberg, expressed her disapproval of the look and cast subtle shade. “Topshop, seriously? On a red carpet?” the Muppet snorted. Miss Piggy did later concede that “it looks good on you.”
