There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

Many of us have had Gwyneth Paltrow on the mind over the past few weeks, but that's nothing new to the lot that spend a considerable amount of time thinking about and aiming to emulate her '90s style. Her love of Tom Ford-era Gucci, her commitment to tank dresses for formal events, her wardrobe filled with rich-looking staples that embodied "quiet luxury" before the term was coined — all of these have reentered the fashion zeitgeist, which makes her sartorial sensibilities of the era feel current.

Take what she wore to a screening of "The Myth of Fingerprints" in New York City in 1997. The greyish-brown knit tank with matching scarf? It could be Brunello Cucinelli, Guest in Residence or any other fancy knit essentials brand. The black leather pants? Probably nailed to Aritzia's design team's mood board. The pared-back accessorizing — a simple black shoulder bag, black platform slides, only a gold wrist watch and a pair of stud earrings for jewelry — is the fashion crowd's preferred method nowadays.

Proof that this 1997 look is as relevant as ever: You can pretty much shop every part of it right now. Evidence is below!
