GoT Star Maisie Williams reveals cast have secret WhatsApp group
Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams has revealed what goes on in the cast's 'secret' WhatsApp group.
Speaking at the Glamour Beauty Festival (via Metro), the Arya Stark actress explained that they mostly use the messaging app to share funny pictures of each other – and she admitted that some might one day become public.
"We have a Game of Thrones WhatsApp and people just post really funny pictures of one another from various seasons," she said.
"I think there was a rule that these do not go on Instagram… but I’m definitely going to put them on Instagram."
Explaining how the cast is like 'one big family', Maisie revealed that she has a special bond with Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister on the show.
"I've been close with her for a long time. When I first met her she didn’t have any kids and I was 12 years old and now she’s a mother of two. We’ve been with each other for these crazy times in our lives," Maisie said.
"Knowing someone for a decade is huge and she’s always treated me like a grown up. She always respected me on a real level and for that I’m so grateful."
Maisie also spoke about the lengths showrunners have gone to to make sure the final season's secrets are kept.
Unfortunately for Sophie Turner's fiancé Joe Jonas, she's already spoiled the ending for him – and he wasn't best pleased about it.

Chatting to Glamour about the fantasy series' no-doubt horrifying end, Sophie, who plays Sansa Stark, said: "I've just told Joe. But he's so mad at me – he loves the show.
"Well, I have to tell someone, otherwise I'll burst," she added.
Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere on April 14, 2019. The show airs on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK. Season 7 is now available to buy on DVD, Blu-ray or digital download.
