Katy Perry is totally naked under a barely-there geometric cut-out leather dress
ICYMI, Katy Perry is back! Not that she ever left, but Katy Perry the singer has returned following her announcement KP6, her latest album, is coming next month. Don't mind us screaming, crying, throwing up over here.
Of course, the release of new music also means a new style era (hello Taylor Swift, hi Beyoncé) and dare we say we're more excited about Katy's 'fits RN than the teaser clip of her first single, 'Woman's World' that she shared on Instagram. Though given she was wearing an underboob-flashing crochet bikini and muscular metal legs, can you really blame us?
And her most recent ensemble is even more jaw-dropping: a barely-there archival Noir Kei Ninomiya black leather cut-out dress. Constructed from geometric leather strips linked together and featuring tulle 3D floral embellishments across the skirt, the dress flashed plenty of skin as Katy went totally naked under the design.
Katy wore the dress for a surprise appearance on the Vogue World: Paris runway yesterday [Sunday 23 June]. A big deal in itself, but the fact she was braless and commando in the daring design ensured she stole the show. No mean feat given the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Sabrina Carpenter were also in attendance.
Vogue took over the French capital for the live fashion show, the third in the Vogue World series following previous years in New York and London. For the Paris event, the show looked back at the last century of French fashion and paired each decade with a different sport. A fitting occasion to look at the connection between fashion and the history of sports given the city will host the Olympic games next month.
Katy walked during the '80s segment and was accompanied by an enormous fleet of professional judokas and karatekas in tribute to the martial arts. Her slicked back hair and shimmering eye makeup a perfect match for the decade.
