Gwyneth Paltrow‘s lifestyle brand is notorious for its outlandish products and every Christmas, Goop gives the greatest gift of all – a good old chuckle with the rest of the Internet.

This year, the company’s annual gift guide certainly has all bases covered with 12 categories in total – including ones dedicated to ‘The Wellness Junkie’ and ‘The One-Step-Aheader’.

But it was Goop’s ‘Ridiculous But Awesome’ list which really stole our attention with a hot air balloon trip over Mount Everest and 24k gold rolling papers making the cut.

If that isn’t enough to make your bank balance quiver with fright, there’s even a small village in Spain up for grabs – you know, for the person who has everything.

Whether you’re seriously considering bagging a couple of items from the wish list or fancy a lunchtime giggle in the office, feast your eyes on some of our favourites from Goop’s 2018 Christmas gift guide:

A village in Spain

If money is no object then you might want to consider making a serious investment this Christmas by purchasing a small village in Lugo, Spain.

For £132,186, you could gift someone several houses, barns and granaries which all boast ‘panoramic views’ and sit close to a neighbouring river.

According to Goop, it’s the perfect pressie when choosing a gift for someone can “take a village”.

24k gold rolling paper

Although Goop acknowledges that 24k gold rolling papers are “the very definition of ridiculous” – the lifestyle brand does believe they’d make a cool gift.

A yacht bigger than our flat

A hot air balloon expedition over Mount Everest

For those of you who prefer to give experiences rather than shop-bought gifts, Goop recommends splurging £4,654,691 on a hot air balloon expedition over Mount Everest.

Veteran pilot Christ Dewhirst will guide the trip, as the balloon will ascend over 30,000 feet over the Himalayas. The price is surely worth the Instagram snaps, right?
