Glamorous Hollywood Hair Is Back At The 2025 Golden Globes
Awards season always serves glamorous beauty looks, but the hair at the 2025 Golden Globes looked to the past for glam inspiration. Celebrities like Ariana Grande, Zendaya, and Nicole Kidman stepped onto the red carpet with modern takes on retro hairstyles (think '60s Valley of the Dolls-inspired mod styles and old Hollywood waves).
Zendaya
Zendaya, who donned a custom burnt-orange Louis Vuitton dress and Bulgari jewelry, paired her copper ensemble with a matching chin-length bob and soft, voluminous curls. To get the retro Hollywood style, hairstylist Coree Moreno used old-school rollers and Nexxus Volume Medium Hold Mousse (in the UK, try L'Oréal Elnett Crème de Mousse for similar results) on Bellami clip-in extensions to create mega volume.
Selena Gomez
For Selena Gomez’s retro bob, hairstylist Renato Campora pulled inspiration from a few old Hollywood icons, including Sofia Loren, Lauren Bacall, and Marilyn Monroe. Campora created structured waves, using Joico's JoiWhip Design Foam, and a deep side part with one side brushed forward and the other side swept back to accentuate Gomez's sparkly neckline of jewellery.

Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman proves that bigger is better when it comes to volume. 'Baby-girl-bouffant was what I had in mind for this year’s Golden Globes look with Nicole, and we drew inspiration from the iconic styles of the '60s and '70s, with a nod to the Studio 54 era,' says hairstylist Adir Abergel. 'Nicole’s dress features a stunning open back so we wanted to create a style that would not only highlight that detail but also accentuate Nicole’s amazing hair.' To enhance Kidman's length, Abergel used Bellami Silk Seam Clip-In Extensions, plus a Denman Brush and Virtue Healing Oil to smooth out Kidman's natural curls.
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande is no stranger to a ponytail as it’s her signature style, but this time, she gave the style a vintage twist. The Wicked star wore a bouncy ponytail with side-swept bangs that resembled Audrey Hepburn. Plus, Grande traded in her icy blonde colour for the hottest hue of the season: a honey 'bronde,' which is a mix of brunette and blonde shades.
Margaret Qualley
Margaret Qualley’s role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood may have been years ago, but the actress still loves to rock a classic hairstyle. Qualley stepped onto the red carpet in a sleek long ‘do with loose waves and plenty of volume at the crown.
