Celebrities proudly rocking armpit hair is nothing new.

However, a singer/songwriter proudly posing in a bikini on the streets of New York and letting it all hang out is a sight to behold.

But that’s exactly what Bella Thorne just did.

Using her Instagram platform to share her support for body hair, the 20-year-old flaunted her underarm fuzz with pride while promoting her newly launched Filthy Fangs bikini.

And earlier this year fashion model Gigi Hadid did exactly the same for her fitness-inspired appearance in LOVE magazine’s famous Advent Calendar.

Showing off her boxing and basketball moves in a red Tommy x Gigi two-piece, the 22-year-old model’s armpit hair can be clearly seen. It’s a welcome move for a fashion industry that promotes the same vision of beauty again and again.

Gigi and Bella certainly aren’t the first famous faces to show off their body hair. The likes of Madonna and daughter Lourdes have both debuted it on the beach and on Instagram while Miley Cyrus, Julia Roberts and even Britney Spears have been known to dabble in the underarm hair department.
