She's so stylish, in fact, that Meghan Markle loves her style, with the duchess actually telling the TV star that herself.
Speaking in the latest issue of Prima – out today – Gaby revealed how she impressed Meghan with her eye for a bargain, wearing an outfit that cost just €40.
'I work with Prince Harry for the Wellchild Awards, and at the ceremony last September I wore an outfit I bought in Italy for €40, explains Gaby.
'It was two dresses I put together which were such a bargain, and Meghan said, "I love what you're wearing!" She's fabulous.
'So all these people were there wearing all the high-end designer stuff and I was in my £40 outfit.'
For the awards, which celebrate the achievements and inspirational qualities of the country's sickest children – Gaby wore a quirky black and silver ensemble, and we can see why the duchess was such a fan.
The 54-year-old creatively paired a sparkly silver top that featured cutaway, batwing arms with a stylish black maxi skirt, with Meghan previously seen wearing a similar skirt herself.
But it's not just the Wellchild awards where Gaby opts for high-street clothes, favouring style steals over bank-breaking designer clothes.
'Its very nice to be lent designer clothes, but you do feel like Cinderella because at the end you have to give them back,' explains Gaby.
'In truth I couldn't live without my jeans. I live in them and always have. I dress them up, dress them down – jeans, lip gloss and mascara, and I'm happy!'
The secret to looking so great in her jeans? Walking an impressive five to seven miles a day. 'I love it,' exclaims Gaby. 'My husband bought me a Fitbit about three years ago and that made me realise I wasn't doing enough walking.
'You can become quite addicted to it, and the fresh air. But I think it's quite a nice thing to be obsessed with.'
