Fearne Cotton splits from husband Jesse Wood after 10 years of marriage as she issues shock statement
Fearne Cotton has announced she's split from her husband Jesse Wood after ten years of marriage. The star took to Instagram on Friday evening, 13 December, to announce the sad news, writing: "It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage.
"Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time." It's been ten years since Fearne and Jesse, who is the son of Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in London in 2014. The couple share two children together, Rex and Honey.
Fearne and Jesse began dating in 2011, after meeting while out partying in Ibiza. The couple met the same year Jesse split from his first wife, Tilly Wood after eight years of marriage. Jesse is also dad to children Arthur and Lola, who Fearne is stepmother to.

However, the star previously admitted she felt 'ill equipped' to become a stepmother in her 20s, as she was 29 at the time. In 2022, Fearne said she was still 'working it out'.
Speaking on Kate Ferdinand's Blended podcast, she said: "I would hate to ever come across as someone saying 'I've totally smashed this one' and tell you how to do it. I'm still working it out."
The news comes just over a week after TV presenter Fearne announced she would be undergoing surgery after discovering 'benign tumours'.
The star revealed the news on Instagram where she said she would be having an operation very soon after finding the tumours below her ear.
Along with a video, Fearne wrote a lengthy statement where she said: "Hey gang. I'm going to be out of action for a bit due to a surgery. I felt a lump under my ear on my jawline a while ago now but this year noticed it was growing. Turns out it's a benign tumour and another small one above it on the saliva gland. I'm feeling positive about it all and will take the opportunity to rest and slow right down."
Fearne continued to write: "If you feel a lump or bump or feel like something is a bit off, always go get it checked. I'm so glad I did as the longer you leave these things the more complicated things become.
"It's obviously so weird that only a couple of months ago Davina told me about her tumour and then weeks later I was calling her having discovered mine. I'm not only lucky she's a bloody good mate but also a beacon of light and positivity when it comes to this stuff. Sending you all loads of love and I'll see you soon."
