Ex MAFS couple Holly and Alex enjoy day out together through the Yorkshire Dales

Ex Married At First Sight couple Holly Ditchfield and Alex Henry continue to shock fans as they further document their 'rekindled relationship,' after their fiery breakup. The couple had a rollercoaster of a relationship on the E4 show, which led to Holly taking some time out of the experiment to see her children.

Earlier this month, the couple were seen looking loved up on a night out in Manchester, appearing to ‘confirm’ they were giving their relationship another go. Now, the couple are showcasing their relationship even further, as they take to Instagram to document a road trip together through the Yorkshire Dales.

In the reel, which Alex captioned: “Day out with my ex wife,” the couple could be seen in the car as Holly told fans: “I’m out with my ex-husband today.”

"We’re going to show you exactly what we’re like when we’re together,” she exclaimed. Throughout the video, the pair were ‘jokingly’ having an argument over Alex’s timekeeping before having a sing-a-long.

It’s a far cry from their last interaction on the show, which came following weeks of arguments, including Alex’s argument with fellow bride, Sacha Jones.

After leaving the reality series after a spat in the commitment ceremony couch, Alex took to Instagram to write: "Unfortunately, it just wasn't meant to be. A lot of people wanted me and Holly to last the test of time, at times I wish we could have too. We shared some great memories together on and off camera. I wish Holly nothing but the best in the future, she deserves it! Speak to you all real soon! Love.”

Holly also echoed the statement, as she told her Instagram followers: "Just a quick message to all the lovely people who have supported my MAFS journey: MAFS taught me so much about myself things that I never knew I was capable of doing I accomplished.

"I am proud of me. Thank you to my amazing MAFS family! My family! My friends and all the lovely people I have met along the way. Over and out," she captioned the post.

Holly and Alex’s road trip to the Dales comes after Holly hit back at trolls after receiving death threats. The star received a wave of backlash for her behaviour after an episode aired last week of Holly locking horns with fellow bride Hannah Norburn during a Girls' Night Out. Many accused the mother-of-two Holly of bullying Hannah, leading to Holly expressing remorse about her behaviour.

"I feel like I've been really quiet the last few days, It hasn't been easy, I'm not going to lie. I have received some very horrendous messages, appalling messages, ones that have, quite frankly, made me not want to leave my house for a few days," Holly expressed.

"I take full accountability for blowing my lid, but one thing I don't deserve is death threats and being told to go and kill myself. At the end of the day, I did react but I reacted because of somebody's actions.

"I would never, ever, dream of treating somebody like that unless they really hurt me and a lot of Hannah's behaviours, I admit, did reignite my insecurities maybe. I am a very protective person of people I care about, so I love all the girls. When my children are being spoken about I am going to react and I am going to get upset,” the star continued.
