Sir Paul McCartney's favourite scent is the lime, basil and mandarin cologne by Jo Malone.
The 81-year-old Beatles legend has revealed his go-to fragrance is by the popular Estée Lauder-owned brand.
Macca was asked in a Q+A for his official website: "I am a big fan of perfumes and I have always asked myself: What is your favourite perfume, Paul?"
To which he replied: "Thank you for asking. I think it's basil ...and something! [Paul checks.] Ok, it's lime, basil and mandarin - that combo by Jo Malone. And it’s funny, when I read the name ‘Jo Malone’ I always think of this theory of mine, imagining she is Spanish and pronouncing it like ‘Home Alone’. I wonder if that’s how it’s meant to be said?"

Macca has seen his wealth double from £50 million to take the top spot once again in this year's Sunday Times Rich List.
It’s all thanks to his 2023 'Got Back' tour, the increase in value of his back catalogue, the re-release of two Beatles compilation albums, and Beyonce covering 'Blackbird' on her new album 'Cowboy Carter.
He previously took the top spot in 2022, when his fortune was estimated at £865 million, and 2023 when he had £950 million.
Sir Elton John's 'Farewell Yellow Brick Road' tour helped steer him to second on the musicians list with £470 million, ahead of Rolling Stones rockers Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards with £415 million.
