Emma Roberts channels aunt Julia Roberts with copper hair transformation
Emma Roberts surprised us all with her latest hair transformation, and not just because she looks fantastic. In fact, Emma's new copper waves are very familiar, as they look just like her famous aunts' - Julia Roberts - and now we can't stop seeing the resemblance.
Taking to Instagram, Emma shared photos and a new video of her transformation. We did a double take when we first saw Emma's new hairstyle, as it's strikingly reminiscent of her aunt Julia's trademark copper locks. With similar eye colour and skin tones, Emma made a wise choice in channelling her aunt's glossy style.
Emma begins the video with her usual mid-length, bleach blonde hair with dark statement roots. Then, by the end of the video, she has long, glossy waves in a copper tone, which she describes as "sunrise red" in the caption.
The star kept her side parting but extended the length, presumably with extensions, for a fuller feel. The deep copper tones add warmth to her skin tone and bring out her hazel eyes for a truly complimentary look.
The star also followed in her aunt's footsteps by breaking into Hollywood, getting her first leading movie role in 2008's Wild Child before going on to star in the likes of We're the Millers opposite Jennifer Aniston and American Horror Story.
While Emma and Julia Roberts haven't starred opposite each other in a major film to date, the pair have been spotted attending screenings and red carpets together over the years.
