Corrin’s Princess Diana-inspired look drew inspiration from a white tuxedo suit that Diana paired with a black bow tie, sheer tights and black heels on an official trip to Florence in 1985, where she accompanied her then-husband Prince Charles. Jasper Conran designed Diana’s tuxedo suit. Conran regularly designed clothes for the former Princess of Wales and was also the designer behind the wedding dress for Princess Margaret’s daughter, Lady Sarah Chatto. Corrin played Princess Diana in Season Four of “The Crown.”

To create their look for “The Crown” finale, Corrin worked with stylist Harry Lambert, who also works with Dan Levy, Princess Beatrice and Sebastian Croft.

Corrin was joined on the red carpet for the finale celebration by fellow actors Elizabeth Debicki, Meg Bellamy and Imelda Staunton, with the three actresses elevating minimalism and channeling quiet luxury.

Debicki wore a cream-white beaded long-sleeve gown from Dior’s fall 2023 couture collection. Debicki played Princess Diana in Season Five of “The Crown,” as well as the current sixth and final season.
