Emily Blunt Wore a Bejeweled Naked Gown With Midriff-Baring Cutouts to the 2024 BAFTAs

The 2024 BAFTA Awards have barely just begun, but Emily Blunt just won all the awards with her dress and her dress alone. On Sunday, the actress attended the star-studded award show in a gown that ticked all of the boxes — it was sparkly and sheer while also showing some skin — in other words, it's what red carpet dreams are made of.
The Elie Saab gown featured a see-through fabric with all-over silver beading, dramatic bell sleeves, and a sweeping train. And despite its high neckline and floor-length hem, the naked dress still managed to live up to its name with massive midriff-baring cutouts on the sides, which were divided into fourths due to a crystal-embellished band across her waist. Accessorizing with the mindset of 'more is more,' Emily added a statement-making floral diamond necklace with matching earrings to her look.

She pulled her blonde hair up into an elegant top knot with a middle part and face-framing pieces, and finished off her glam with a light pink lip, glowing skin, and rosy cheeks.
While her husband John Krasinski was missing from her side, Blunt brought along her parents Joanna and Oliver Blunt to take his place. Emily's mom wore a sequined metallic dress that coordinated with her daughter's look, while her dad opted for a black tux with a white scarf around his neck.

At this year’s BAFTAs, Blunt is nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role her extraordinary performance in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer. Also up for the coveted mask trophy in the category is Danielle Brooks, Claire Foy, Sandra Hüller, Rosamund Pike, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
