According to royal reporter Omid Scobie, the new parents will enjoy a night off at the Odeon in Leicester Square - a public engagement sure to please royal fans across the globe.
The silver screen remake will directly correlate with the Duke of Sussex’s lifelong commitment to animal conservation, as the premiere will be held “in support of the conservation and communities work of His Royal Highness through The Royal Foundation”, a Kensington Palace spokesperson revealed.
For instance, Walt Disney recently announced #ProtectThePrice - a campaign designed to protect the lion population across Africa.
Buckingham Palace confirm that Duchess Meghan will be joining Harry on the carpet for the #LionKing premiere this Sunday. And yes, @Beyonce’s people tell me that she will be attending. Expect the internet break down. https://t.co/h1uN21CJtu— Omid Scobie (@scobie) July 11, 2019
But all eyes will be on the red carpet, as the Duchess of Sussex and Beyoncé - who voices lioness Nala in the silver screen remake - are both set to appear.
Although it’s not certain whether or not the duo have ever met - the pair might know one another through Serena Williams, who made a cameo in Beyoncé’s music video for ‘Sorry’ - , the songstress has previously showcased her love for Meghan.
The Carters famously skipped the 2019 Brit Awards but when the power couple won the award for Best International Music Group from across the pond - they sent in a video of gratitude.
In the clip, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are pictured in front of a painting of the Duchess of Sussex in a crown. The singer later shared a photograph of the three of them via Instagram.
Unsurprisingly, the news has already caused immense excitement with fans, with a number taking to Twitter to share their excitement.
“It’s happening! My two Queens together,” one wrote.
A fellow social media user commented, “We need to arrange a meeting with Prince George and his future wife Queen Blue Ivy.”
A third added: “Social media will be on fire.”

Go Meghan. Wear something expensive and drip in diamonds. Let aneurysms and brain vessels explode. They want her to hide away...won't happen.— Bukky (@AlobaBukky) July 11, 2019

Though the Carters aren’t the only A-listers the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will nudge shoulders with on the evening, as the likes of Donald Glover, Seth Rogan and Alfre Woodard will also be in attendance.
