Duchess Of Cambridge flawlessly pulls a pint in a designer gown at Belfast's Empire Music Hall
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge rounded off their day pulling pints at the Empire Music Hall in Belfast.
The couple were at a party at the iconic venue where they met young people who are making a real difference in Northern Ireland.
William, 36, appeared to take the challenge seriously, tilting the pint glass and watching the tap intently before exclaiming “look at that bad boy” as he admired his work, and added: “Perfect – good enough for an advert.”
Kate, 37, laughed as she took her turn, while her husband teased her.
The duchess looked flawless in a mint green lamé dress by Missoni with a crossover neckline and a pleated skirt. The high-end Italian fashion house is renowned for its colourful knitwear designs and the duchess has sported coats from their collection previously.
The mum-of-three teamed it with her classic nude accessories – her Mulberry Bayswater clutch bag and her Gianvito Rossi pumps in the praline colourway. She accessorised with new jewellery from Kiki McDonough’s ‘Candy’ collection.
Husband William wore a navy suit with a white shirt.
Guests at the party included representatives from Northern Ireland’s business, arts and sport sectors, including Dame Mary Peters who was today appointed Lady Companion of the Most Noble of the Garter by the Queen.
Kate and William arrived in Belfast on Wednesday afternoon for an unannounced two-day visit. Their first stop was at Windsor Park football stadium, where they learned about the Irish Football Association’s programmes to encourage youngsters to get into sport.
The Cambridges went head-to-head during a football match, with William jokingly warning his teammates that his wife “goes for the ankles.”
They later travelled to Fermangah, where they saw the work the charity Extern is doing at their Roscor Youth Village, a residential activity centre that provides a safe space to help and support young people.
