The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took some time off from their royal duties last week to spend half term with their children.
While it has been widely reported that Kate and William went on a skiing holiday, it’s believed they actually spent the week at Anmer Hall, their home close to the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
An onlooker told the newspaper that Kate was wearing a maroon swimsuit and ‘full makeup, pearl earrings and her iconic engagement ring,’ as she organised swimming races for the children.
They said: “The children were very well behaved and both were practising their diving from the side.
“Kate was organising little races for them and they did it around four or five times. She said ‘ready, steady go’ and did a downward chopping action in the water to indicate the start of the race.”
The source added that George and Charlotte swam unaided and were “super confident” in the water.
Prince Louis, who turns one in April, was not at the swimming pool with Kate and his older siblings.
According to Hello magazine, the Cambridges returned home to London on Sunday to resume their duties and get the children ready to go back to school. Prince George attends Thomas’s in Battersea, while Princess Charlotte is at Willcocks Nursery School in Kensington.
The family were last seen in public together for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding in October 2018, but the Cambridges also released an adorable family photo for their annual Christmas card.
