How the Duchess of Cambridge and Pippa Middleton dress for a wedding

On Saturday 20th May, Pippa Middleton will marry James Matthews in a quaint church in the village of Bucklebury, Berkshire. No one knows what the bride will wear, but it’s thought she might glide down the aisle in a custom gown by Giles Deacon, a British fashion designer.

It’s anyone’s guess what Kate will wear. The Duchess of Cambridge isn’t going to be a bridesmaid, despite her children playing key roles in the service, so she’ll most likely be kitted out in an outfit similar to the styles she’s worn to weddings in the past. Perhaps a coat dress teamed with a fascinator or a shift dress paired with a statement hat.

Over the years, Kate and Pippa have attended numerous high-profile weddings, giving us all plenty of what-to-wear-to-a-wedding inspiration; from the perfect heel height, to the perfect hat size to the perfect hem length. So, whether you’re set to attend a spring, summer, autumn or winter wedding, look to the Middleton sisters for the ideal ensemble.
