Dua Lipa floors fans with new photo in string bikini—and her abs and legs are so sculpted
Pop star Dua Lipa is already in full summer mode, and I am *right* there with her. The Future Nostalgia singer, 26, flashed her toned core and defined legs in a new Instagram post, and the summery vibes are unmatched.
'Olive oil ice cream for the win,' she captioned the photo dump, which includes snaps and videos from her recent travels. In two shots, Dua rocks a black string bikini. She's also embracing the warmer weather in a black dress with a lace-up front and a high slit.
Fans in the comments couldn't get enough: '😍😍 Stunning 😍😍,' one user wrote, while someone else added, 'Giving us angles yessss.'
Obviously, Dua hustles all the time on stage—but what does her workout routine look like on her days off?
For starters, one of Dua's trainers Sora Connor revealed that the singer's gym sessions are all about strengthening her whole bod. 'We always work the entire body,' she told Women's Health US. 'Sometimes it's more core-focused, other times it's glutes. The main objective is to work the muscles so that they become strong and toned but the focus is on creating a long, lean line.'
Coach Peter MacIver told us he used to train with Dua three to four times per week. Each session lasted one hour and combined cardio with resistance training. sprints and bodyweight workouts were key, although sometimes the pair would switch things up and add equipment like resistance bands.
MacIver also explained that Dua knows how to set and achieve her fitness #goals. When the singer wanted to tackle running up some serious hills in London, the pair worked together to break it down. 'We overcame it by tackling one hill at a time,' he said. 'So instead of saying we’re running up five (which is typical with all of my clients), we’d do one at a time, and she managed it in the end.'
Dua herself has shared in the past that she enjoys trying new workouts as much as possible. 'When I have a tiny bit more time on my side I love mixing up lots of different training, finding different workouts in whatever city I'm in, whether it's yoga, Pilates, boxing, or spinning,' she told Marie Claire UK.
'Whatever it is, I try to change it up every day to keep things interesting. When you're on a tour bus, every day and every place is different, so you never know what you're going to find. That's always one way to keep it interesting.'
And, of course, rest is super important—even for an international pop star. 'For a busy individual like Dua, I suggested naps to help her body recover. If you train too much, your body won’t work, so rest is a non-negotiable,' MacIver told us.
Say it louder for the people in the back!
