Death in Paradise star Ralf Little’s fiancée sparks split rumours after ditching engagement ring

Death in Paradise star Ralf Little’s fiancée has sparked split rumours after appearing to have removed her engagement ring. The actor is in a relationship with screenwriter Lindsey Ferrentino, who he proposed to back in 2018.

Ralf, 44, and Lindsey have been an items since 2017, when they crossed paths during the London run of Ugly Lies the Bone, where Ralf starred alongside his Death in Paradise predecessor Kris Marshall. The chemistry sparked on stage translated into a personal connection.

The couple tend to keep their romance private, but eagle-eyed fans have noticed they no longer follow each other on Instagram. Recent photos of Lindsey also show her without her engagement ring.

All of Lindsey's latest Instagram posts are snaps of her travels and days out with pals. One video shows her sitting down with theatre maker Drew McOnie for a chat and throughout the conversation she tights clasps onto a mug, with it clearly visibly she isn't wearing her ring.

Meanwhile, Ralf hasn't shared any recent snaps of his fiancée online, instead focusing on promoting his podcast, Two Pints with Will and Ralf, as well as keeping up with all things Death in Paradise following his exit from the show earlier this year.

Ralf and Lindsey got engaged in 2018 when the actor romantically proposed during a surprise getaway to a country house. Speaking to The Mirror back in 2020 about how he popped the question, Ralf said: "We were in a country house, it was a big surprise. I planned it in advance.

"I had a total result with the ring, though. She said to me if she ever got engaged there's only one ring for her — her grandma's, it's absolutely beautiful."

It is thought that Lindsey, who originally hails from America, and Ralf split their time between their home in King's Cross, London as well as a home in Guadalupe, where Ralf had been residing while starring in Death in Paradise. His time on the show came to an end earlier this year.

Ralf had previously opened up about working away from home, admitting it can be a struggle to balance work and his personal life. Speaking during an Instagram Q&A, the actor said: "I miss my dogs but the dogs are in America, so I miss the dogs and I miss my other half.

"But people come to visit for a start and secondly, I'm so busy and I've built a life here… I’m the kind of person that's very present wherever I am. So, I'm here, this is what I'm doing and I'm lucky enough to really enjoy what I do. So, yes and no."
