Conjoined Twins Abby and Brittany Hensel Spotted Out After News of Wedding to Army Veteran Josh Bowling
News of Abby's 2021 marriage was first revealed in March
Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have been spotted out and about just weeks after news broke that Abby married Army veteran Josh Bowling in 2021.
The former TLC reality stars, 34, were photographed during a stroll in Minnesota after exiting a Mexican restaurant. Notably, Abby's diamond wedding ring can be seen glistening on her hand.
They opted for a casual muted grey-green, short-sleeve blouse with frilled arms paired with light-wash ripped blue jeans. The outfit was accessorized with a pair of black slip-on sneakers, a brown purse and an Apple watch.

Abby and Brittany rose to fame after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996 and subsequently being put on the cover of LIFE. The two are dicephalic conjoined twins, sharing the same bloodstream and organs below the waist. Abby is in control of their right arm and leg, and Brittany is in control of their left.
As a result of their rise to stardom, TLC gave the twins their own reality show: Abby & Brittany, which followed their journey as they graduated from Minnesota's Bethel College and then traveled around Europe.
With their reality television days behind them, per Today, Abby and Brittany now work as fifth-grade teachers. They still reside in Minnesota, where they were born and raised.
Public records obtained by Today in March revealed that Abby had quietly wed Josh, 33, a nurse and United States Army veteran, in 2021. This was substantiated by the twins changing the profile photo on their Facebook page to what appears to be a wedding shot of themselves and Josh. His Facebook profile also features images of the twins.

Most recently, Josh has faced a paternity lawsuit from his ex-wife, Annica Bowling, documents obtained by PEOPLE show. On Oct. 2, 2023, Annica filed the suit against both Josh and an individual named Gavin Vatnsdal, per Minnesota court records.
The suit may focus on the paternity of Annica's youngest daughter, who was born after she and Josh split. However, the child has not been named because she is a minor. A Genetic test report, which was added to the file on March 7, has also not been made publicly available.
Annica and Josh wed in 2010 and separated in 2019. A motion hearing for the paternity suit is currently scheduled for April 19.
In late March, the twins seemingly posted a response to the online attention they received, calling out "haters," after news of the wedding went public.
“The internet is extra LOUD today,” Abby and Brittany wrote alongside one clip showing a series of photos of historical sculptures of conjoined twins as the song “Real Love Baby” by Father John Misty played over the top.
Their caption continued, “We have always been around ❤️#abbyandbrittanyhensel #happy #love #lovestory #marriage.”
