A Closer Look at Miss USA Noelia Voigt’s Swimwear, Opening Number Dress and National Costume for Miss Universe 2023 Pageant
Miss USA Noelia Voigt competed in the 2023 Miss Universe pageant on Saturday in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Although she didn’t take home the crown this year, as it ultimately went to Miss Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios, Voigt still debuted many stylish looks throughout the competition on her way to ranking among the top 20 delegates.

At the national costume portion of the event on Nov. 16, Voigt wore a silver sequin bodysuit with a design made to look like fireworks exploding, pairing the bodysuit with silver sequin thigh-high boots with actual fireworks attached and a silver sequin headpiece. The look also featured a cape in red, white and blue stripes with stars and replicas of America’s national monuments, including the Statue of Liberty, the Washington Monument, the Empire State Building, the White House and a Route 66 sign.
For her opening look, Voigt modeled a purple sequin cocktail dress from sponsor Clarisse Designs. She completed her sparkling look with strappy metallic silver heels by Jojo Bragais, the pageant’s footwear provider.
For the swimsuit portion, Voigt wore a one-piece violet swimsuit with bow trim detail on the shoulders and cutout details.
All of the contestants modeled swimwear designed by Rubin Singer, as the Miss Universe Organization released its first collaborative merchandise line on Nov. 15 on missuniverse.com.
This summer, the Miss Universe pageant launched a skincare brand designed for women of diverse backgrounds with botanicals from all seven continents.
The 2023 competition marked some major changes for the event, as the Miss Universe Organization eliminated its age limit of 28 years old for contestants. This was also a groundbreaking year as the event welcomed two transgender women, a plus-size model and mothers.
The event featured contestants from 86 countries competing for the crown. John Legend performed at the ceremony, and Olivia Culpo, Jeannie Mai and Maria Menounos served as the night’s hosts. The 2022 Miss Universe title holder is R’Bonney Gabriel of the USA, who walked the stage one last time to congratulate her successor, Palacios. The crown was created by Mouawad, the official jeweler for the Miss Universe Organization since 2019.
