Charlize Theron just wore a bra on the red carpet

Most people associate the wearing of bras as tops as the domain of young twenty-somethings with nothing to hide.

But Charlize Theron is proving everyone wrong with her latest look.

The 41-year-old actress hit the red carpet in Berlin for the premiere of her new film, ‘Atomic Blonde’.

Being a Dior ambassador, Charlize naturally wore a full look by the Parisian fashion house.

Instead of the usual floaty gowns that most A-listers have been going for, the actress went down a different route, choosing a white bra and matching high-waisted skirt.

The underwear featured the brand’s logo in a riff on the signature Calvin Klein set.

White heels and a dainty diamond bracelet topped off the angelic-with-a-twist ensemble.

The only pop of colour from the blonde star came from a slick of bright red lipstick and matching nails.

Charlize isn’t the first celebrity to show off her lingerie on the red carpet (though she may just be the oldest).

Both Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian have stepped out in public multiple times with their bras fully on show.

Maybe it’s a trend we need to get on board with.
