Rihanna has become a bonafide actress. Fact.

The 29-year-old star continued her love of frothy gowns at the LA premiere of ‘Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.’

She arrived in a puffy, pink couture number by Giambattista Valli that featured a high-low hemline and a billowing train.

Sticking to her girly colour scheme, Rihanna donned a pair of lace-up knee-high sandals by her collaborator Manolo Blahnik.

With her hair scraped back into a high ponytail, she was the complete opposite of co-star and fellow new actress Cara Delevingne.

The former model was a futuristic queen in a silver gown by revolutionary 3D designer Iris van Herpen.

The metallic halterneck gown clung to Cara’s body and featured a cascading waterfall print. She teamed the eye-catching design with a pair of silver strappy sandals.

Her recent buzzcut has grown out into a blonde pixie cut and was pin curled in a gorgeous vintage style for the star-studded premiere.

Cara was supported by sister Poppy Delevingne – who wore a sequinned Zuhair Murad jumpsuit – and friend Kendall Jenner who arrived in a teeny tiny black minidress.
