Rio and Kate Ferdinand are set to spice up Celebrity Gogglebox with their debut on the show tonight as the new series kicks off.

The dynamic duo, who have a bustling household with five kids ranging from teens to toddlers, will be giving us a glimpse into their family life as they share their reactions to the latest TV shows from the comfort of their own sofa.

Last summer saw the arrival of their daughter Shae for the couple, who are also parents to three year old Cree. Kate, 33, has also embraced her role as step-mum to Rio's three children Lorenz, 17, Tate, 15, and Tia, 12, from his previous marriage.

Friday night's episode of Celebrity Gogglebox is set to feature the Ferdinands weighing in on everything from the eyebrow-raising Milf Manor on Paramount + to President Trump's latest antics, as well as Sky's Canal Boat Diaries and Channel 4's The Nevermets.

Former footballer Rio, 45, tied the knot with Kate Wright in 2019 after tragically losing his first wife Rebecca Ellison to breast cancer in 2015.

This isn't the first time the Ferdinands have given fans a peek inside their lavish Bromley home. Rio previously opened up his doors for a heartfelt documentary following Rebecca's passing, exploring the impact of grief on his family. In a 2020 sequel, viewers got to see Kate as she navigated her new life with the family and stepped into her role as a stepmother.

The full Celebrity Gogglebox line up is set to be a hit, as Spice Girl Mel B and her daughter Phoenix are also set to make their Celebrity Gogglebox debut, as well as comedian Chris McCausland alongside actress and comedian Donna Preston.

Returning favourites for this series include EastEnders ' Danny Dyer and his Love Island winner daughter Dani, TV presenter Zoe Ball and her son Woody, sports broadcaster Clare Balding and her wife Alice Arnold, TV personality Rylan Clarke with his mum Linda, Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder and bandmate Bez, Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp and his radio host son Roman, and Loose Women's Stacey Solomon alongside her husband Joe Swash.

Friday night's episode will kick off a bit later than usual due to the England game, starting at 22.10. The England v Iceland friendly is set to begin at 7.45pm live from Wembley Stadium.

But don't worry, after tonight, Celebrity Gogglebox will return to its regular 9pm slot for the rest of its six-week run.
