Lourdes Leon’s ripped dress has so many holes, it's holding on by just a thread
Cast your minds back to 2023 and you may remember Lourdes Leon was vying for the title of queen of naked dressing. No mean feat in Hollywood, with celebs including Katy Perry, Normani and Dakota Johnson all in stiff competition, battling for the title.
However, from the months of August – December last year, Madonna's daughter was making regular appearances in see-through minis, sheer tattoo illusion dresses and barely-there spiderweb designs. She even posed completely naked using handbags for clothes as part of an ad campaign for Dion Lee.
Aside from her Perfect magazine cover back in January, on which she modelled a corset and suspenders, we've barely heard from Lourdes in 2024. But we're happy to report she was spotted attending the Marc Jacobs Autumn 2024 runway show in New York yesterday [Monday 1 July] and *of course* she was back to her naked dressing best.
Lourdes stuck to her tried and tested outfit formula in a black figure-hugging mini dress. As well as featuring a scoop neck and spaghetti shoulder straps, the dress had dozens of rips and shreds covering the entire design. Some of the rips left cut-outs in the dress across her torso and legs, while others featured mesh inserts.
Lourdes wore a pair of tie-side black briefs beneath the risqué 'fit, with the strings poking out from the largest cut-outs positioned at each of her hips. She wore heeled mules with crystal-embellished straps on her feet and carried a black top-handle handbag, accessorising her look with XL silver hoop earrings, layered silver necklaces and a black leather watch.
It's easily one of her more daring looks to date. And tbh, with the number of holes on the dress, it's enough to trigger trypophobia...
