Cat Deeley shares very rare video of children Milo, 8, and James, 5, on holiday in Lapland
Cat Deeley shared a very rare video of her sons while they enjoyed a magical time at Lapland UK. Ahead of Christmas, the 48-year-old TV presenter posted a video of the boys enjoying their time, with the caption: “Sending our letters & lists to Father Christmas, and doing our best to work our way back onto the nice list this year at our favorite place to spend the holiday, @LaplandUK!! Alison & Mike (@MrAndMrsLapland) have created the most wonderful, magical place - with core memories made thanks to the truly magnificent & talented team”.
In the video, the boys are seen running around and writing santa letters. One wrote: “Dear santa I have been very good this year.” In another clip, the whole family is seen sitting around the table getting stuck into Christmas traditions before walking through an array of Christmas lights to talk to Santa. She shares the two kids with Irish comedian and actor dad, Patrick Kielty, 53. Cat also recently gave fans another rare glimpse into her family life by sharing a video of Milo, who is the spitting image of his famous dad. Cat posted a video showing Milo bravely sitting in the dentist's chair. Dressed in a festive red jumper and jeans and sporting special dark glasses for his treatment.
Cat and Patrick, who have been married since 2012, recently moved back to the UK where Cat landed a new presenting gig on This Morning alongside Ben Shephard, after years of living and working in LA. The pair took over from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in March. The family's move back to the UK came after a terrifying incident involving a gunman in a shopping mall while Patrick was out with Milo, prompting their decision to return home.

In a candid 2020 interview, Cat opened up about the traumatic experience that shook her family, recounting: "Everyone was told to lie behind the counter or pushed into the loos. People were screaming and crying. Then, as they were all hiding, the FBI turned up with guns. Paddy kept Milo calm - he didn't really know what was going on.”
Speaking about the horror unfolding, she said: "As I was driving, I began to see helicopters, news vans, firemen and armed police response squads. It makes me go funny now. It was terrifying. Paddy was shaken by it, more than Milo, who didn't properly understand. The gun laws in America are crazy."
The drama escalated when the centre was put on lockdown, and Cat received a heart-stopping call from her husband: "They shut down the centre. I got a call from Paddy, saying: 'They're taking us out through the fire exits but nobody can get to their car. If we walk to a junction, can you come and get us?'"
Fortunately, Paddy and Milo emerged safe from the ordeal. Still, the terrifying event led Cat to reconsider her family's future in the States, especially when school meetings about gun attack procedures revealed the horrifying reality of the risk: "They tell you exactly what would happen, whether the kids would go to a safe room or hide under the desks...The danger suddenly becomes a reality."
