A quarter of Brits have more sex at Christmas than any other time of year
Maybe it’s the Christmas parties, perhaps it’s finally slowing down, sleeping in and taking time away from our busy schedules.
Whatever the reason, a quarter of British people admit to having more sex over the festive period than any other time of year.
According to new research, one quarter of us say that Christmas leads us to having more sex than any other time of year.
Most people put this down to having more time off and being able to relax more, but Christmas nights out and parties surely play a part.
It’s perhaps unsurprising, then, that one of the main areas mentioned in the research is Christmas sex is the office.
Some 41% of 18-34 year olds would have sex in their office, despite knowing it’s against company policy.

And that’s not all.
Despite knowing the repercussions (i.e. getting fired or being that person at the office Christmas party) one in five British people would bring a condom to the office Christmas party on the off-chance they might use it.
According to Swedish sex toy company Lelo HEX, men are almost three times more likely than women to take a condom to the office Christmas party, too.

Londoners are three times more likely (40%) to ask for a condom from their boss than the rest of the UK (16%), too.
They were also happy to admit that they’d like to have more sex in 2020 than they did this year.
There’s a solid New Year’s resolution for you.
This research comes after a recent survey revealed that 1 in 3 couples on the UK are in sexless relationships.
A survey, by over-50s dating app Lumen, found the 31% not being intimate with their other half rises to 38% in over-50s.
Despite this, 41% of couples polled said they crave more sex in their lives and it seems there’s no better opportunity than now to satisfy that craving.
There are a number of ways to bring back the intimacy this Christmas. With our busy schedules, it’s no wonder sex and relationship expert Jessica Leoni from the dating site IllicitEncounters.com, recommended scheduling sex into your routine.
Other suggestions include rediscovering your love of kissing, taking things back to the early days of your relationship and spicing up your bedtime reading.
